Well …what to say about You Telecom … One of the most terrible internet service providers I have ever used in my life. They have problem in their each and every department no matter whether it is registration, billing, customer service, Technical support or any thing else.
You Telecom’s marketing people will tell you lie left, right and centre at the time of taking connection and later on when you will ask You Telecom, you will be told to see in the back of registration form receipt where they have written in font size 4-5, “Marketing person might promise you something which You Telecom can not provide, however marketing individual tell that to get the connection”. Example: I was told that RS. 250/- is refundable amount which you will get back once you have surrender the connection. Later on when I checked with You Telecom, they simply refused it.
The person who came to my place for installation etc, he was unable to open windows explorer on my computer. At that time I was not at home, he tried some thing and went back just like that in between. Later on when I called this guy what happened? He said your computer is not compatible. So you can guess the expertise You Telecom folks got. Afterward another person came who could manage to install. However he was not aware of anything else other than just installation.
Well it is not end yet …
After using 15 days internet I got a bill or RS. 657, which actually suppose to be around 200/-. I called You Telecom’s customer service left and write. Every time I called them, I get new request number but no response. 15th was last date for payment so after waiting until 14th I paid amount RS. 657 on 15th for which I have got receipt also. Again Next month bill came with late fees charges RS. 50. We went to You Telecom about same and meet the same person (Sunil) who collected the bill previous month, you know what was his explanation, “You paid the bill on 15th but we got it deposit on 16th and hence there is late fees and we can not remove it, you have pay that”. Is it not hilarious?
I do not want to talk about number of times service is unavailable because of You Telecom’s unplanned outage and up-gradation.
So guys and girls, think at least a 1000 times before go for You Telecom connection. If you need more feedback, call me on my cell 9967368800.

I have been a You Customer from the past 4 years and have registered about 80 complaints for different reasons in a 4 years time. They feel they have won the battle when they are not able to rectify your problems and are able to harass you in different ways. They fail to realise the amount of losses a customer faces due to non-availability of internet.
I wish to tell everyone seeking an internet connection that all ISPs are the same. They are not different from each other. Infact now I also think that they have a sort of ISP association or something where they have decided not to provide better connectivity and let the customers suffer. Because if one provides better service then others will also have to up their services.
I also switched to SIFY but they are not any different. I also think the ISPs have a kind of competition among themselves as to who emerges as a winner by providing sub-standard services.

Horrible service from You
